Perch Stairlifts
Do you have problems bending your knees?
Is your staircase exceptionally narrow (less than 24")?
Then an Acorn Superglide Perch Stairlift could
be the answer to helping you get around all the floors in your home.
Occasionally, it is not possible to use the
standard Acorn Superglide Stairlift. Perhaps this is because the
stairs are exceptionally narrow, or because the user’s legs
will not bend enough to allow them to sit down on the stairlift.Acorn
has especially developed the Perch Stairlift to overcome this problem.
The Perch Model is easily operated by the
remote control system, or alternatively with the 'wander lead' control
which can be positioned for your maximum comfort and ease of operation.
As with all Acorn stairlifts, the Perch Model is available now for
rapid installation. |

Outdoor Stairlifts
The outdoor stair lift has all of the safety
and comfort features included with our indoor stair lift, but is
designed and manufactured specifically for outdoor use.
All metallic components are either made in
aluminium, or are oil annealed or zinc plated before powder coating.
Plastic components are heat and UV resistant, protecting the stair
lift from colour fading and ambient heat damage.
The Acorn Superglide Outdoor Stair Lift is
an ideal solution for situations involving any staircase that is
exposed to the elements, including garden steps, sun decks, porches,
front stoops and garage or basement steps.
Even in outdoor configuration, the Acorn Superglide
Stair Lift has world renowned ride quality and performance, making
it whisper quiet, smooth and stable and very easy to use.
Included with the stair lift is a durable
plastic cover, which will keep off accumulations of leaves and snow. |

Curved Stairlifts
It would seem that a curved rail stairlift
provides an appropriate solution for a staircase that is not a straight
run. However, you should consider all options when choosing a stairlift
solution for your home.
Curved Stairlifts are much more complex pieces
of equipment compared with a straight stairlift. Consequently, they
are considerably more expensive. There are other aspects of these
lifts that you should consider carefully before making your decision.
Curved Stairlifts have to be custom-built
for your individual staircase.
Curved rail stairlifts require a highly detailed,
accurate on-site survey prior to order and can take between 1 to
3 months to be built and delivered. |
